Neon for motion picture visual special effects

A mainstay of our business since 1976. We worked on the first Star Wars movie. This work continues today as we provide neon as small as 2mm in diameter for miniature neon signs and internal lighting for models including models used in the latest Star Wars movie, The Phantom Menace.

Over twenty-five years ago we made the original miniature neon for the title sequence of the movie “One From The Heart.” A couple of years ago we remade this neon and assembled it with the original painting from the movie poster. This piece now hangs in the museum of the Neibaum-Coppola Winery in Rutherford, California.

"Biff's" a model from Back To The Future II was made using minature 3.5mm neon tubing. This model building that appears to have 23 stories plus a sign on top is only 7.5 feet tall.

This 6' tall Neon Cowboy model was made for a First Union Bank commercial produced by ILM. On screen it looked 30' tall and had people walking between his legs.

This piece uses 3.5mm and 5mm phosphor coated neon tubing.

We worked on the 2mm minature neon for these model signs for 1981 Zoetrope release One From The Heart.

This 2mm minature "Port of San Francisco" was made for a KRON-TV promo.

This blue neon grid was made for an Industrial Light and Magic blue screen paddle.
